The range is an automated estimate from what the photos show: type, maker, period, materials and condition. When the photos are not enough to be sure, the app says so and gives a broad range instead of a made-up figure. Valuary Pro adds similar listings from marketplaces and auction houses, which are asking prices and auction results, not a valuation. Either way the range is not a formal appraisal, authentication or investment advice. Real value depends on condition, authenticity, provenance and the market. For an item you believe is valuable, consult a qualified appraiser or auction house.
Many popular styles — mid-century seating, Tiffany-style lamps, farmhouse furniture, advertising signs — are reproduced and sold new today. Without a maker's mark, an original and a modern pastiche can look identical in a photo. When that is the case the app tells you both possibilities and what photo would settle it.
Your photos are processed by our AI provider to identify the item and are kept on our server for up to 30 days for quality checks, then deleted. Valuary has no account or login. See the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
